Hello.

I have been absent from here for a few days trying to get ready for winter.  Believe it or not, we are expecting our first snow tomorrow.

Outdoor Christmas decorations are up since Monday when we had a nice warm day.  We thought this was a lot better time to decorate than when it was really cold.    Will probably wait a few days before we put up the indoor decorations.

Plan on listing more feedsack fabrics soon and will be posting some Christmas decorating pictures.

BUT, first plan on celebrating Thanksgiving before I get to going on too much Christmas planning.

Good morning.  Trying to get back to blogging since my time outdoors is coming to an end here in the Midwest.  Here are some of the vintage feedsack fabrics that I have just listed in my Etsy store (pinkcozycottage) and on E-Bay (shabbyvintagelady).  Hope you enjoy checking out my items.

 Vintage Feedsack Fabrics - 10 large pieces that measure approx. 6 inches by 8 inches

2 Sets of 20 different vintage feedsack patterns - total of 40 pieces - all measure approx. 6 inches by 3 inches.

My All Time Favorite Homemade Salad Dressing Recipe

1 C Mayo
1/2 C Sour Cream
1/2 t Chives
1/2 t Parsley
1/2 t Dillweed
1/4 t Garlic Powder
1/4 t Onion Powder
1/8 t Salt
1/8 t Pepper

Mix all together.  To save on calories and fat, I usually make with part fat free mayo or all fat free mayo and use fat free sour cream.  I usually leave out the salt and the mayo is salty enough for me since I am supposed to eat a salt reduced diet.
Also, sometimes I add salsa to make a thousand island type of dressing and sometimes add some blue cheese.  Also spices can be adjusted to suit your taste, too.
Many variations can be done to this.

Good morning.  It is a foggy morning here in the Midwest.  Hopefully, it will lift and we will have a wonderful day starting the holiday weekend off.

Lovely Sunday here in the Midwest.  Celebrating my husband's birthday today.  Baked a huge angel food cake and will be frosting with that awesome 7 minute gooey fluffy icing that he loves so well.

The garden is still producing - picked more tomatoes yesterday and plan on making them up for salsa.
