Just Made a Low Carb Cheesecake and Low Carb Liver and Onions.

Since it is a cloudy foggy rainy morning here in the Midwest, I have been cooking for the weekend.

Early this morning, I made a pot of potato soup for Hubby to take to a Lions Club event.  Then, I made a low carb cheesecake which is now cooling.  Looks awesome.

I know that liver is not one of some people's favorite; but I really do like it, so made a low carb version.  Can't wait to try it, too.

Primitive Dolls and My Victorian Boot Ornies Coming Soon.

I just love to make these little primitive dolls and will be making more soon.  They never turn out the same which gives each one their own individual characteristics.

Also will be making more of my usual little Victorian boot  ornaments that I make this time of year.  I love to make them scented with cinnamon or plain to use as bowl fillers or tree ornaments.

So, stay tuned for more goodies.

Weekend Sale on my Vintage Feedsack Fabrics is Still on in my Etsy Shop Running All Week

Nice sunny morning here in the Midwest but is only 21 degrees but will be up to 39 today.  40's is predicted for tomorrow and I am so ready for that.  I would take 80's, but know that is wishful thinking.  Maybe next May or June.

Will be running the weekend sale in my Etsy Shop all week even though it started out to be just a weekend sale.

Listed a different packet yesterday and will be listing more today.

Going to make Paradise Pineapple Salad from Joanna's book, "Fast, Cheap and Easy" and "Sweet and Sour Loose Meat Sandwiches from the same book.

Molds for Making Furniture Embellishments

It is a cold chilly morning here in the Midwest.  They are predicting snow this afternoon which I am always not so ready for.

Going to try my hand at molding some clay for furniture embellishments.  I just ordered my first mold so will see what happens with that.   Am excited to always try something new in the my craft decorating world.   Will be posting pictures if everything turns out okay.  :)

Joanna Lund Recipe for Chimichangas from one of her Cookbooks and WW 123 menu

Nice cool morning here in the Midwest.  Great day for something warm from the oven.
I have followed Joanna Lund recipes for many years.  If you are not familiar with her, she wrote several cookbooks in her lifetime for healthy eating.  They fit right into my 123 WW plan.
Today I am making Chimichangas from her "The Cancer Recovery" cookbook listed on page 186.

Today's 123 Menu:

Waffle with sf jelly
Chimichanga
Salad
veggie burger
bun
blueberries with sf topping or yogurt

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
