Today's Calorie Counting Menu

 Looks like it is going to be a nice day here in the Midwest.  Plan on going out and mowing leaves and cleaning my porch. Hope all have a great day.

Today's Calorie Counting Menu:

cheerios

almond milk

Fish

low carb tortilla (used around my fish patty for sandwich instead of bread)

ff cheese slice melted on my sandwich

grilled shrimp

veggies

1/2 c cottage cheese

3/4 c low fat yogurt

This may not sound like much food to some, but I am short and "old" so I just don't need as many calories. This menu really fills me up and if I do get hungry before bedtime, (I usually don't) I will have a cheese stick.  I like to stay under 1000 calories and not go over that most days.  If I am having a hungry day, I will eat up to 1200. Since I have to watch blood sugar and cholesterol, I have to be careful with what I eat and how much.

Today's Calorie Counting Menu

 Here is today's calorie counting menu:

banana

stuffed mushrooms 

WW entre 

salad

Low fat Yogurt with 1 T sugar free preserves for flavor 

cottage cheese

6 saltines

sf jello

Since I need to watch my cholesterol and sugar, I stuffed the mushrooms with cashew cream with spices.  I had never tried this before; but, actually, it was pretty good.

All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.

1 slice red. fat cheese

Back to Calorie Counting with Menu

Been away taking care of a lot of things I needed to do before winter. 

Will try to be here every day with my calorie counting menu;  As I have said before, my eating is not perfect and I just eat what I want (within reason) - just in my calorie range.

Weight hasn't changed too much - down another 3# so am pretty close to my goal.  If I get there, that is okay and if I don't that is okay, too, because I am 6 - 8 # from it.  If I am eating good and eating fairly healthy, then that is my goal. 

As I have to watch my cholesterol and also blood sugar, I try to do good most of the time.

Today's menu:

Protein pancake with sf syrup

cucumbers and zucchini 

low carb tortilla with no fat cheese

chicken pattie

protein powder ice cream with strawberries

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Back from Lots of Yard Work Getting Ready for Winter

 Have been so busy with yard work trying to get everything done before the cold hits.  Pretty chilly a week or two ago here in the Midwest, but has been in the upper 70's for a few days.  That gave me a good opportunity to take care of those outdoor chores.

Today is a good day to be inside with all of the cold and wind today.
